Princess Kiram: Malaysia suppressing information on Sabah

MANILA, Philippines – The Malaysian government is allegedly suppressing information on the events in Sabah.

The allegation was made Tuesday by the sultan’s daughter, Princess Jaycel Kiram, in an interview with Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

Kiram said that foreign media have been barred to cover the crisis and were unable to independently confirm Kuala Lumpur’s claims on the bloody standoff in Sabah

“Dapat maintindihan ng lahat na ang Malaysia ay may tinatago kung kaya hindi nila hinahayaan na makapasok ang foreign press para ma-validate ang mga impormasyon na ang Malaysia lang ang nag fi-feed sa’tin,” she said.

(Malaysia is hiding something that’s why its officials are not allowing foreign press to cover the crisis and validate information being fed to the public.)
