MANILA, Philippines—An Italian national lost her laptop, cell phones, camera and P51,000 in cash in a Makati City restaurant on Monday night.
A police report stated that Chiara Saccardi, 35, and her four friends were eating inside the Old Spaghetti House in Salcedo Village in Makati City when she placed her bag near her feet under the table. When they were about to pay for the bill at around 10:30 p.m., Saccardi reached out for her bag and found out it was gone.
Restaurant staff recalled seeing two unidentified men sitting near Saccardi’s group on Monday night
Saccardi’s bag contained a Toshiba laptop, three pieces of external hard drive, a Panasonic Cumix Camera, two cell phones, three credit cards, her passport and ID, and cash worth 860 euros (P46,100.39) and P5,000, according to the police report.
PO2 Reynaldo Agustin is still investigating the case.
