MANILA, Philippines– The Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday announced that it has deported two American women who are allegedly wanted for a string of criminal fraud charges in the US.

Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. said Lucretia Beth Brown, 49, and Andrea Jaine London, 51, have been flown out of the country on a Philippine Airlines flight for Los Angeles, California.

Their deportation came a month after their arrest in Cebu City by operatives of the Immigration fugitive search unit.

The two will undergo trial before a US district court in eastern Texas which ordered their arrest for conspiring to conceal records, make false statements, not report multiple sales, and for failure to maintain records of receipt and disposition of firearms of the business establishment that employed them.

FEATURED STORIES

Immigration records showed that the women arrived together in Mactan last Feb. 6 and were admitted as tourists.

They were already undocumented aliens when arrested as the US government had already revoked their passports.
