US thanks PH for ‘Sandy’ aid
The United States on Thursday expressed its gratitude to the Philippine government for readily extending help to victims of Hurricane “Sandy.”
US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry Thomas Jr. yesterday posted his thanks on his Twitter account shortly after Malacañang announced its aid to the US in the aftermath of the superstorm.
“Thank you government of the Philippines who will donate $250K to the American Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. True partners & friends!” said Thomas.
The US has been a constant aid provider to the country in times of natural disasters.
