‘Right Footed’ tells the story of armless achiever

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, California – Born with no arms, courageous Filipina American achiever and inspirational speaker, Jessica Cox, will soon have her story told in a documentary. Power ng Pinoy TV is holding a benefit event to complete funding for Jessica Cox’ documentary “Right Footed”, on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Fort McKinley Restaurant in South San Francisco.

Cox holds the Guinness World Record for being the first armless person to get an FAA pilot certification and the title of first armless taekwondo blackbelter, among others. The proceeds of the event will help fund her inspiring documentary movie called “Rightfooted” which chronicles her life, struggles and success.

The lithe longhaired beauty has become an international inspirational keynote speaker. She is recognized and highly respected in the Filipino community and others whom she has touched by her resourcefulness, resiliency and graciousness.

Prowave Media, which is underwriting the documentary, also produces Power ng Pinoy, a weekly 30-minute TV program that features inspirational and success stories of Filipino movers and shakers. Produced in a documentary format, Power ng Pinoy introduces and salutes successful individuals, groups and corporations that continue to make a difference in the lives of Filipinos in the US and in the Philippines.
