Pakistani call center agent caught with shabu in mall restroom

MANILA, Philippines—A Pakistani national is now in jail after janitors and security guards of an entertainment complex in Pasig City caught him taking drugs while inside a restroom on Sunday morning.

The Pasig Police identified the suspect as Raj Guamar Dandalani, a 30-year-old call center agent.

PO3 James Barbajera Jr. of the Pasig Police said that security guards of the Metrowalk Complex in Ortigas, Pasig, turned the Pakistani over to them.

He added that janitors at Metrowalk reported to the security officials that Dandalani, along with two other companions, locked themselves up in a cubicle at a restroom in the complex.

When a security guard barged into the cubicle, they found Dandalani and the others taking shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).

The Pakistani’s companions were able to run away as the guard, without backup zeroed in on Dandalani.

Seized from the suspect was a sachet of shabu, and drug paraphernalia, including an aluminum foil.

Dandalani will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
