MANILA, Philippines—A migrant workers group on Wednesday said they were one with lawmakers who have suggested that Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo be buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (Cemetery for Heroes).

From a report by Ruel Perez of Radyo Inquirer 990 AM, the migrant workers group Migrante said they supported the proposition, noting that Robredo was a modern-day hero and a dedicated, trusted public servant.

The group also extended their sympathies to the family of the late secretary, the report said.
