US Embassy to be closed Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines – The US embassy in Manila would still be closed Wednesday, August 8, the embassy announced on its official Facebook page.
In the statement, the embassy said visa applicants could reschedule appointments by visiting the embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service online at http:www.ustraveldocs.com./ph or call (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930.

The embassy also closed operations today due to heavy rains and flooding in much of the National Capital Region (NCR), US embassy spokesperson Tina Malone said in a text message.
