‘One Happy Father’s Day’, an INQUIRER.net photo contest
MANILA, Philippines – “Say cheese, dad!”
Open that family photo album. You must have kept a photograph of that special trip with your father, or of that birthday when he got back extra early from work just so he could greet you personally.
It could have even been a photo of a normal day at home, your graduation, or of him holding you in his arms after you were born.
In any case, every photo taken with your dad must have been special – or will be special, in the long run as our fathers have always been an important part of our lives.
Share those photos on Father’s Day with INQUIRER.net as it partners with Robinsons Retail Stores in paying tribute to the man who has played the most important role in our lives through a photo contest: One Happy Father’s Day. And if you don’t have one on hand, there is still time to grab a camera and shoot a photo with your dad – perhaps on Father’s Day this Sunday – treat him out to a special lunch, dinner or movie and snap that photo.
Entries will be judged based on the number of ‘likes’ they receive on the contest’s Facebook page (60%), creativity (20%), and emotional impact (20%).
Up for grabs are Robinsons Gift Certificates worth P10,000 for the photo who wins first place, P7,500 for the second place winner while the third place winner will get P5,000. Ten contestants also stand to receive Robinsons Gift Certificates worth P500 as consolation prize.
Memorable photos with your dad can be sent with captions to [email protected] until June 30, 2011.
