The money for the reward will come from Sergio Mazza’s twin brother Sandro, said Makati Police Senior Superintendent Froilan Bonifacio.
Based on the CFC, the first suspect is from 30 to 35 years old, 5’4” to 5’5”, 80 to 85 kilograms and at the time of the shooting was wearing dark blue t-shirt and denim pants.
The second suspect is 40 to 45 years old, 5’5” to 5’6”, 80 to 85 kilograms, medium built and was wearing white t-shirt and denim pants at the time the crime was committed.
The third is 45 to 48 years old, 80 to 85 kilograms, medium built, wearing dark blue jacket and denim pants.
Bonifacio said that Mazza’s Rolex watch, P20,000 pocket money and Blackberry phone was not stolen.
He quoted the driver of the taxi that was used as a getaway vehicle as saying that one of the suspects stopped his cab and picked up two others after a few blocks. The driver said he told his passengers that “there was someone gunned down” but the suspects answered with “don’t mind that”.
Bonifacio said they have created the Task Force Mazza headed by Chief Superintendent Arnie delos Santos. He added that they have conducted a series of conferences on the case, with 12 people filing their statements.
Investigation also showed that Mazza had multiple relationships with up to eight women, which police said may be a motive for the killing.
