Burmese boy abducted in Laguna

BIÑAN, Laguna, Philippines—An 8-year-old son of a Burma (Myanmar) national was abducted by four armed men while the boy was on board a school service van on Friday in Biñan City, according to a  flash police report sent via SMS by Laguna police director Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz.

Cruz, citing a report from the Biñan police, said that  Reynald Chew was on the school service on his way to Montessori Children Woodside when the van was blocked by the suspects at around 7:30 a.m. in Barangay San Francisco.

The suspects were reportedly armed with high-powered guns. Maricar Cinco, Inquirer Southern Luzon
