MANILA, Philippines – A backpack containing two packets of suspected low-grade shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) was found abandoned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 early Friday, authorities said.

Superintendent Moises Tuliano, head of the Aviation Security Group at the NAIA-3, said the substance sealed in plastic weighed a total of 160.28 grams.

The suspected illegal drugs were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency although Tuliano said the substance was likely “shabu” mixed with other substances.
