Laos PM arrives in Manila

MANILA, Philippines—Laos Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong arrived in Manila Thursday afternoon for a two-day state visit.

Thongsing and his delegation arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 on board a chartered flight at around 2 p.m.

The Department of Foreign Affairs earlier said that Thongsing is visiting the country on the invitation of President Aquino.

Aquino and Thongsing “will discuss bilateral cooperation and partnerships in promoting people-to-people and institutional exchanges,” the DFA said.
