NAIA 3 fully operational by 2014—Aquino
MACTAN ISLAND, Cebu, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino said here Friday that the Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 3 should be fully operational by 2014.
Speaking in an open forum with leaders of the electronics industry, Aquino said the controversial terminal still needs some structural corrections before it could be fully utilized.
“When it will be fully operational? I understand between a year and a year-and-a-half it will be fully operational,” Aquino said during the 17th World Electronics Forum.
“There’s a memorandum of understanding already with the Takenaka group to finish the portion of the work that has been left aside,” he added.
