An evening of cello music and songs

Classical music lovers will once again be treated to an enthralling evening with the performance of concert artist Wilfredo Pasamba on cello, and Angelita Pasamba, assisting artist, on piano. An Evening of Cello Music and Songs will be held on April 28v at 7 pm at the Our Lady of Mercy Church on 5 Elmwood Street between South Mayfair & Southgate Streets in Daly City, California.

The concert will feature classical works of Schumann, Saint Saens, Tchaikowsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Cassado, C Franck,  and popular music of Mancini, Webber, and Morosconi. Included in the repertoire are Favorite Filipino kundiman and folk songs like Nasaan Ka Irog, Hindi Kita Malimot, Sarung Banggi.

There will be a special participation by the Our Lady of Mercy (OLM) School Children’s Choir, OLM Knights of Columbus Choir and the Hallelujah Chorale of Mater Dolorosa Church. This concert was made possible with the collaboration of Our Lady of Mercy Church and its pastors Fr. Domingo Orimaco, Pastor, and Fr. Ted Magpayo, Associate Pastor.
