Asean air forces complete training program

MANILA, Philippines — Air forces in this region have completed an education and training program aimed at improving cooperation and interoperability, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) said in a statement on Friday.

The PAF on Aug. 20 virtually hosted the 13th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Air Forces Education and Training Working Group meeting during which the Asean Air Forces Education and Training Interoperability Guidelines were completed.

Representatives from the Royal Brunei Air Force, Cambodian Air Force, Indonesian Air Force, Lao Air Force-Lao People’s Army, Royal Malaysian Air Force, Myanmar Air Force, Philippine Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force, Royal Thai Air Force, Timor-Leste Air Component, and Vietnam Air Defence-Air Force took part in the program. —GABRYELLE DUMALAG
