April is Jazz Appreciation Month – and the Oakland East Bay Symphony – in collaboration with the San Francisco Filipino American Jazz Festival and the Filipino American National Historical Society is proud to present:

“Notes from the Philippines”

Celebrate the rich, vibrant culture of the Philippines with Conductor Michael Morgan and the Oakland East Bay Symphony as they present two new works for orchestra by jazz pianists and composers Victor Noriega and Art Khu.  Also featured with the OEBS on this special evening is the Cello Concerto by Antonin Dvorak with David Requiro on cello.
