The Insurance One-Stop Shop (IOSS) Insurance Agency Inc. launched the Ayos Health Card, an accessible health plan aimed to provide service for Filipinos seeking a more inclusive insurance coverage.

Powered by PhilCare, the Ayos Health Card bridges the Filipino healthcare gap and debunks misconceptions that have long caused the Filipinos’ stigma toward insurance or Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) in general.

Availing the Ayos Health Card is hassle-free and convenient. Once payment is verified, the process is quick and seamless. All plans have a 15-day activation period, and as soon as the administrative window is complete, coverage begins immediately, marking the applicant’s “Day 1.”

Additionally, what sets the Ayos Health Card apart is its immediate coverage for pre-existing conditions (PECs)—starting from Day 1 of the plan’s effectivity. This is a rare offering in the health insurance industry, where such conditions are typically covered only after a waiting period, often up to a year.

Common conditions such as asthma, GERD, PCOS, and controlled diabetes are immediately covered, which makes this health plan an inclusive option especially for freelancers and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

For more serious illnesses, a six-month waiting period is applied as a sustainable measure, allowing the plan to accommodate members who may otherwise be declined by traditional HMO providers.

This underscores the Ayos Health Card’s ability to take on risks often deemed “uninsurable” by other health plans. Aligned with the World Health Organization’s “Health for All” initiative, it ensures that Filipinos who avail of the Ayos Health Card are no longer subject to medical exclusions.

For Filipinos, this health plan marks a major shift, not just in perspective, but in industry practice. It moves away from the long-standing narrative of “You are too sick to be covered” toward a more inclusive and reassuring promise: “You are covered because you need it most.”

For only a starting premium of ₱18,000 under the AYOS Basic variant, it covers a maximum benefit limit of ₱60,000 and Day 1 PEC coverage for ₱30,000.

At present, the Ayos Health Card now has over 1,000 holders since its July 2025 soft launch and is targeted to reach 50,000 Filipino holders this year from freelancers, MSMEs, breadwinners, senior citizens, and to all individuals seeking greater protection for their health and financial well-being.

The Ayos Health Card does not wait for its holders to be healthy before offering protection—it safeguards them as they are. It stands as a true partner, sharing the risk with you and ultimately giving users peace of mind.
