SAN FRANCISCO, California—About 200 Filipino-American leaders will gather at the Conference on Philippine Entrepreneurship sponsored by the Filipino Professionals and Businessmen’s Association (FILPABA), the Science and Technology Advisory Council of Silicon Valley (STAC SV)and the Filipino Entrepreneurs Network (FEN).
The conference will held on March 31 at the South San Francisco Conference Center, 255 South Airport Blvd,South San Francisco, CA from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“We have four panels composed of successful Filipino leaders,businessmen and entrepreneurs. Noted panelists include Mr. Dado Banatao, managing partner of Tallwood Ventures and noted philantrophist and the chairman of the Philippine House of Representatives Information Technology Committee – Rep. Fred Tinga,” said Denny S. Roja, Esq., chairman of the conference.
“The goals of the conference are to share the message of the compelling need for economic development in the Philippines as a way to alleviate poverty through science and technology and innovation, and present a call to action – how the Filipino Diaspora can be part of the strategic solution,” said Roja.
