World Expo 2025 `very good opportunity to promote PH tourism’ — Marcos

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos on Friday visited the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
They even described the event as a “very good opportunity to expand and promote (Philippine) tourism,” according to a press release from the Department of Tourism.
This is part of Marcos’ working visit to the country, where he is also scheduled to have business meetings and meet the Filipino community.

“The President himself took an immersive journey inside the Pavilion, through its scrims that tell the diverse stories of all 18 regions of the Philippines,” the press release read.
At the pavilion, guests may embark on an immersive experience through the “Dancing with Nature” installation that highlights the Philippines’ breathtaking destinations and an interactive artificial intelligence-driven photobooth.
Marcos’ trip came upon invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba last October. /mr
