Conejos gets CA panel nod as WTO representative

MANILA, Philippines – Esteban Conejos Jr. was confirmed Wednesday by a panel of the powerful Commission on Appointments as the Philippines permanent representative to the World Trade Organization.

Conejo’s confirmation was unanimously approved by the commission’ s committee on foreign affairs.

The nominee also has the rank and emolument of Chief of Mission, Class 1, in the Department of Foreign Affairs.
