Marcos receives Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Kuwait envoys

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday received the credentials of the newly designated ambassadors of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Kuwait, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said.
In a press release, the PCO said Marcos met Ambassadors Dr. Asima Rabbani of Pakistan, Faisal Ebraheem Alajrafi Alghamdi of Saudi Arabia, Makawadee Sumitmor of Thailand, and Meshari Yousef Muhammad Alnibari of Kuwait during a formal presentation ceremony in Malacañang.

Marcos was joined by Department of Foreign Affairs Acting Secretary Charles Jose during the presentation ceremony, the PCO said.
The Philippines established diplomatic relations with Pakistan in 1949, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1969, Thailand in 1949, and Kuwait in 1979. /das
