FEATURED STORIES

“Together, we will discover the ways and means to become true advocates as a ONE COMMUNITY. This is our strength. This is what will propel our empowerment goals and objectives to success!”

Alice “Tita Alice” Bulos, the acknowledged legacy builder of community empowerment as well as the Godmother of Filipino political empowerment will lead a powerhouse panel of speakers and historic trailblazers, sharing the nuts and bolts of community empowerment. The Panel will be led by Vice Mayor Rob Bonta (Alameda, CA), Vice Mayor Chris Mateo (Lathrop, CA), and Dr. Jennifer Ong, Commissioner of the Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women. These panelists are also our highly-qualified political candidates for the State Assembly of California in their respective districts — a “Historic First!”
