990AM: PDEA nabs 2 foreigners in Rizal for drug possession

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two alleged members of the West African Drug Syndicates (WADS) in Cainta Rizal, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said Tuesday.
PDEA- NCR (National Capital Region), Intelligence Investigation Service (IIS) and Region 3 joined forces in a buy bust operation, which led to the arrest of two Nigerian nationals identified as Sam Osei alis Obinna Oliver 33, married and residing in Evagelista Makati and Ezema Obi King 31, of Montevista Dolores Rizal, the report said.
Seized in their possession were four transparent plastic bags covered in silver packaging tape amounting to P5 million worth of drugs and the P300,000 marked money, the report said.
Quoting PDEA director Jigger Montillana and PDEA Region 3 director Roybel Sanchez, the report said that the operation was originally set in Bataan but the suspect asked to meet them in Rizal.
