WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump still backs his national security team despite a blunder that saw officials accidentally share plans for strikes on Yemen with an American journalist, the White House said Monday.
“President Trump continues to have the utmost confidence in his national security team, including National Security Advisor Mike Waltz,” spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.
