The incident occurred hours after Duterte’s arrest on Tuesday morning at the request of the International Criminal Court (ICC) for alleged crimes against humanity committed during his administration’s war on drugs.

After his apprehension at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Duterte was transferred to Villamor Air Base, where he was joined by Kitty, his common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña, and others.

Later that day, still at Villamor Air Base, Kitty posted an Instagram story showing Torre giving the Duterte camp an ultimatum to choose three people to accompany the former president on a chartered flight to The Hague, Netherlands.
