Investigation showed that the suspects introduced themselves as professionals who inject stem cells, hair regrowth, body sculpture, bio-stimulation collagen, and derma-related procedures to their patients and clients.

But police said the three failed to present required medical licenses and permits “to dispense medical products, operate a medical facility or practice medicine in the Philippines.”

Confiscated from the suspects were boxes of assorted medicines, medical and cosmetic products, and related devices, as well as notebooks documenting medical procedures, prescription medications, and receipts.

The three are now in police custody and will face complaints for violating Republic Act 2382 or the Medical Act of 1959.
