MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) apprehended two foreign nationals in separate operations in Pampanga and Isabela, the agency reported on Wednesday.

In a statement, the BI said Iranian national Amirhossein Moghaddasi, 52, was apprehended on Thursday, February 6, at the Clark Civil Aviation Complex in Pampanga.

Moghaddasi was the subject of a complaint alleging that he continued working in Clark, Pampanga, despite the closure of his previous company.

“The complaint claimed that Moghaddasi, despite holding a valid working visa, was working for a company other than his petitioner,” the bureau said in its statement.

According to the BI, immigration agents conducted surveillance and verified that the alleged information on Maghaddasi was correct.
