Indian airline official shot dead in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines—A high-ranking Indian official of a local airline firm was killed by two motorcycle-riding men in Parañaque City on Sunday afternoon.

Police identified the victim as Raheel Mohamed Ali Shaikh, 23, a director and vice president of Zamboanga-based Aero Majestic Airways, Inc.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Pio Calvo Jr. said the shooting took place at 4:30 p.m. in front of the VVS Building at Multinational Village, Sto. Niño.

The victim was walking on the road when he was shot repeatedly. The police have yet to determine the motive for the killing.—Nathaniel R. Melican
