In the wake of Typhoon Kristine, Angkas Bikers and Angkasangga volunteers have rallied together to deliver essential relief to communities heavily impacted by the recent typhoon. Demonstrating swift action and solidarity, the Angkasangga team mobilized to provide much-needed assistance to flood-stricken areas, reaching the Municipality of Libon, Albay, with vital supplies. Additionally, support was extended to Angkas bikers and their families in Batangas, where several have been personally affected by the typhoon’s devastation.
The Angkasangga and Angkas relief efforts included the distribution of food packs, water, and essential goods to displaced families in Libon, who were among the hardest hit by severe flooding. Coordinating with local authorities, the volunteers ensured that supplies reached those in dire need, offering comfort and support to families working to recover from the disaster.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost their homes and livelihoods. Angkas and Angkasangga remain committed to extending assistance to both our partner communities and our bikers who have been impacted by this calamity,” said George Royeca, Angkas CEO and Nominee of Angkasangga. “We are incredibly proud of our Angkas bikers and volunteers who did not hesitate to jump into action to help fellow Filipinos in need.”
In Batangas, relief supplies were also provided to the Angkas bikers affected by Typhoon Kristine. The team ensured that these individuals, who are the backbone of Angkas’ daily operations, received the support they needed to rebuild and recover.
Angkasangga’s relief mission is part of the organization’s continued commitment to helping communities and strengthening its ties with Filipinos across the country. As Typhoon Kristine underscores the importance of unity and resilience, Angkasangga stands ready to support those in need, one delivery at a time.
