MANILA, Philippines – Aircraft from the Philippine Air Force (PAF), together with the Indonesian National Armed Forces, transported family food packs (FFPs) to remote communities severely affected by recent typhoons in the Bicol region on Monday.

PAF spokesperson Col. Ma. Consuelo Castillo, in a statement Tuesday, said these FFPs were airlifted to the remote islands of Calaguas in Camarines Norte and Butawanan in Camarines Sur.

“This mission delivered essential food supplies to communities affected by the onslaught of STS (Severe Tropical Storm) Kristine. Additionally, a PAF C-130 aircraft transported further essential supplies to Naga Airport, which serves as a vital distribution hub for the ongoing relief efforts in affected areas,” she added.
