Marcos thanks Malaysian PM Anwar for ‘invaluable help’ after Kristine
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. thanked Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for deploying some of his country’s air assets to help the Philippine government in bringing aid to those affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.
“I spoke with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today to personally thank him and the people of Malaysia for their invaluable help after Typhoon Kristine. Marcos and Ibrahim spoke via phone call on Monday.
In his post, Marcos also recognized the assistance provided by neighboring nations to the Philippines in times of need.
