Senate panel to invite Pogo boss Lin Xunhan to next hearing – Hontiveros
MANILA, Philippines — The Senate panel investigating illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos) will be inviting Lin Xunhan, a Pogo boss under the identity of Lyu Dong, to its next hearing, Senator Risa Hontiveros confirmed Friday.
“We will also write to the courts handling his cases to have Pogo boss Lyu Dong attend the final hearing,” Hontiveros said in Filipino.
“In Lyu Dong’s latest arrest, if there are theories linking him to Guo Hua Ping, we need to establish that connection,” she added.
Sen. Win Gatchalian on Tuesday said Lin’s presence was vital to the next hearing of the Hontiveros-led probe, as he wanted to see whether the Pogo big boss was connected to other scam farms.
