11 Chinese arrested in CamNorte for illegal mineral reprocessing

MANILA, Philippines — Eleven Chinese allegedly involved in the illegal construction of a mineral reprocessing plant in Camarines Norte were apprehended on Sunday morning, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC).

In a report, PAOCC identified them as  Liu Wei Xi, Chen Gui Hua, Chang Si Ci, Chen Chan Xia, Liu Wei Mang, Yu Yun Lai, Zhen Zi Yu, Li Chun, Jiu Zhong Ren, Lou Peng, and Sheng Yuan Fan.

All 11 were collared by joint elements of PAOCC and the Bureau of Immigration in Purok 6, Barangay Tugos, Paracale around 8:30 a.m.

PAOCC said authorities are investigating them at the Oco Mineral Processing Plant in Barangay Tugos.
