MANILA, Philippines (Updated) — Alice Guo, whose real name is Guo Hua Ping, will be transferred to Pasig City jail, Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said Friday.
Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 167 issued the commitment order for Guo’s transfer there.
“The NCR-CIDG (National Capital Region-Criminal Investigation Detection Group) Custodial Facility, Camp Crame, Quezon City is DIRECTED to transfer the custody of accused Alice Guo a.k.a ‘Guo Hua Ping’ to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory,” the four-page commitment order read.
Aside from Guo, 15 others were subject to the Pasig RTC order.
However, 14 of them remain at large, and an arrest warrant will be issued against them. The other accused, a certain Walter Wong Long, was also ordered to be transferred to the Pasig City Jail Male Dormitory.
Fajardo said the PNP is targeting to transfer Guo from Camp Crame to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory by Friday. She has yet to be transferred there as of this posting.

Guo was supposed to undergo her initial arraignment at the Valenzuela Regional Trial Court on Friday afternoon for her graft charges.
However, the arraignment did not proceed due to a pending motion to quash. A motion to quash is filed before an accused enters their plea to challenge the validity of the Information containing the allegations against them.
Guo posted a bail of P540,000, her counsel Atty. Stephen David said.

Tarlac RTC Branch 109 issued a warrant of arrest against the dismissed mayor of Bamban on September 5 for allegedly violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act. This graft case was transferred from the Tarlac RTC to the Valenzuela RTC.

Fajardo, meanwhile, ruled out the transfer of Guo to Valenzuela despite facing a case there, since the Pasig RTC issued a commitment order first, and her case in Valenzuela is bailable.
“We don’t want to run the risk of them posting bail then they go missing,” Fajardo also said.
Guo left the country on July 18 despite an ongoing probe into her probable role in the operations of illegal Philippine offshore gaming operations (Pogo). Indonesian authorities arrested her in Jakarta on September 4.
