MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) and Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) on Tuesday filed qualified human trafficking charges against Cassandra Li Ong and 51 others.
The charges, filed at the Department of Justice, are related to their alleged involvement in the Lucky South 99 scam farm in Porac, Pampanga, according to PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio in a post on “X.”
Among the respondents is Ronalyn Baterna, the documented corporate secretary of Lucky South 99.

Last June, the PAOCC and PNP-CIDG also filed a qualified human trafficking complaint against ex-Bamban mayor Alice Guo in connection with the raided Philippine offshore gaming operator entity in her town.

Guo and Ong are also facing 87 counts of money laundering, filed by the Anti-Money Laundering Council, National Bureau of Investigation, and PAOCC last August.
