4 Chinese abducted in Pasay City found in Batangas City

Four Chinese nationals, who were allegedly kidnapped in Pasay City in Metro Manila, were found in Batangas City in Batangas province on Friday, Sept. 6.

LUCENA CITY — Four Chinese nationals, who were allegedly kidnapped in Pasay City were found in Batangas City in Batangas province on Friday, Sept. 6.

In a report on Saturday, the Region 4A police said a security guard found Wang Lan Lai, 32; Wang Qing Feng, 23; Nang Ze Cheng, 31; and Chen Wei Wei, (no age) along the bypass road in Barangay (village) Balagtas around 3:45 a.m.

According to the victims, they were abducted somewhere in Pasay City by unidentified compatriots and boarded them into a vehicle. They were blindfolded, their hands were tied and with duct tape on their mouths but they were able to escape from their kidnappers later.

The police did not provide other information about the victims, the details of the supposed abduction incident and how they escaped from their abductors.

The victims would be turned over to the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group for proper disposition.
