Alice Guo to be brought to PNP headquarters upon arrival in PH

In a press briefing, PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said Guo is expected to arrive in Manila at around 6:00 p.m.
However, it was pushed back until evening as the Philippine and Indonesian authorities needed to hold a meeting first at 1 p.m.
Travel time from Jakarta to Manila takes at least four hours.
“Kausap ko po mismo kanina ni SILG [Secretary of Interior and Local Government] at ang ating chief PNP, ang plano po ay kapag nai-turn over na po sa kanila si Alice Guo ay dadalhin po ito sa Camp Crame para mag undergo po ng medical examination, para tignan din po at siguraduhing nasa maayos po siyang kalagayan bago po siya i-turn over po sa Senate,” Fajardo said.

The plan is that once Alice Guo is turned over to them, she will be brought to Camp Crame to undergo a medical examination, to check and ensure that she is in good condition before being turned over to the Senate.)
Article continues after this advertisementAsked why Guo will be brought to Camp Crame, Fajardo explained it is because the PNP was assigned to serve the warrant of arrest against Guo.
“Ang PNP po ang naatasan na mag serve po ng warrant of arrest at bitbit din po natin ‘yung warrant of arrest na galing sa Office of the Sergeant at Arms ng Senate po at ‘yung po ang dahilan kung bakit natin siya iko-custody,” she said.
(The PNP is assigned to serve the warrant of arrest, and we also have the warrant of arrest from the Office of the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate, and that is the reason why we will take her into custody.)
