NBI readies security plans for Alice Guo’s return from Indonesia
MANILA, Philippines — Security plans are in place for dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo’s arrival in the Philippines from Indonesia, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Jaime Santiago said on Wednesday.
Guo was arrested in Tangerang City in Jakarta, Indonesia, around 1:30 a.m. on the same day and is currently in the custody of the Indonesian Police at Jatanras Mabes Polri.

“Yes, noon pa mayroon [na] tayong security plans. Two steps forward tayo agad, mayroon na tayong plano,” Santiago replied when asked in a press conference if the NBI has measures to secure Guo upon her arrival in the country.
(Yes, we’ve had security plans for a long time now. We’ve always been two steps ahead; we already have a plan.)
He however did not disclose the plans, and the date of Guo’s arrival is yet to be finalized.

“Mayroon nang lumabas…nai-share ang Indonesian police na talagang maiksi na ang buhok niya, nagpaputol ng buhok to conceal her identity,” he said.

Santiago said once Guo arrives in Manila, she will be taken to the Bureau of Investigation in Manila and the National Bureau of Investigation in Quezon City before she will be turned over to the Senate.
