MANILA, Philippines — Wesley Guo, the brother of dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, has already left Indonesia, according to Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Winston Casio on Thursday.
The former mayor and her siblings, Wesley and Sheila, as well as Cassandra Ong, left the Philippines last July, according to authorities.
However, the former mayor’s sister and Ong were arrested in Indonesia, as reported earlier by Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr.

“Kahapon noong natanggap po namin ‘yung ulat na nasa kustodiya na nga po ng immigration authorities ng Indonesia si Cassy Li Ong at Sheila Guo kami ay nagtanong-tanong din po kung nasaan ang dalawa pang persons of interest natin,” Casio said in a Zoom interview with reporters, referring to the former mayor and her brother.

“Apparently yung lalaki, si Wesley Guo, ay nasa ibang bansa na raw po. Kung saang bansa, undisclosed pa po ito,” he said, citing reports from authorities in Indonesia.
(Apparently, the brother, Wesley Guo, is reportedly in another country which is still undisclosed.)
Former Mayor Guo’s sister and Ong are set to return to the Philippines from Indonesia around 5 p.m. Thursday (August 22).
