Guo’s sister, companion to be sent back; may be detained in Senate – PNP
MANILA, Philippines — Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo’s sister and her companion, who were detained in Indonesia, will be sent back to the country.
The two persons may be detained in the Senate.
This development was announced by Philippine National Police Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo on Thursday.
Alice Guo’s sister, Shiela Guo, as well as her business associate Cassandra Lee Ong, were detained in Indonesia on Wednesday morning, according to Fajardo.
“As a matter of course, they will be repatriated here in the Philippines,” Fajardo said in a press briefing.
Article continues after this advertisementWhen asked on the date of their return to the Philippines, Fajardo said: “I am not at liberty to discuss it right now.”

“One of the possibilities is i-turn over sila sa Senate since in force and effect pa ang warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Senate,” Fajardo also said.
