PAOCC confirms Alice Guo is already out of PH

Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is now out of the country based on the immigration records of the Philippines’ foreign counterparts, Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Winston Casio said on Monday.

MANILA, Philippines — Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is now out of the country based on the immigration records of the Philippines’ foreign counterparts, Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Winston Casio said on Monday.

Casio issued the statement after verifying reports that Guo already left the country, as earlier revealed by Sen. Risa Hontiveros.

“Confirmed that Alice Leal Guo is out of the country based on our foreign counterparts’ immigration records,” the PAOCC official said.

According to Casio, the former mayor arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Denpasar, Indonesia, through Batik Air 177 last July 18. Three days later, on July 21, Guo landed in Singapore from Kuala Lumpur via Jetstar Asia 686.

He added that Guo arrived in Batham, Indonesia, from Singapore via ferry boat on Sunday.

Also on Monday, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) revealed that it received information suggesting that Guo “left the country illegally” without passing through the Philippine immigration authorities.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said Guo, whose real name is said to be Guo Huaping, “illegally traveled to Malaysia as early as July,” based on intelligence information,

The official said the intelligence information “came from very reliable sources.”

He added that the former mayor purportedly flew to Singapore with Shiela Leal Guo and Wesley Leal Guo last July 21.

Earlier, Hontiveros revealed that Guo was already in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 18.

The senator said the former mayor used her Philippine passport to exit the country.
