Manila Doctors Hospital accelerates facility upgrade for a top-notch patient experience

Having patient-centered facilities and services is essential to ensure that patients are provided with the best healthcare and quality of life. More than medical treatments, positive patient experience encompasses all interaction touchpoints of a patient – from the quality of care of the doctors and medical staff to the convenience and efficiency of hospital facilities and services.

Facilities for a top-notch patient experience

For Manila Doctors Hospital, their continuous thrust in improving their facilities and services is anchored with the goal of exceptional patient experience. Last July, MDH opened three newly upgraded sites and facilities – the new International Hub, HMO Hub, and the thoroughly modern and cutting-edge Operating Room Complex Phase 1.

With the hospital located in the heart of Manila’s business district well-positioned to cater to the health and wellness needs of expats, tourists, and foreign nationals alike, the new International Hub is a specialized center and a one-stop shop that provides value-added services to international patients.

With 23 HMO companies available, the newly opened HMO Hub is designed to provide a more comfortable setting and space to accommodate clients from Mondays to Saturdays. This serves as a vital link that brings hospital services closer to a wider patient base. The new and upgraded location of the facility will provide a more efficient, seamless, and worry-free experience for the patients.

Phase 1 of the new Operating Room Complex promises an upscale and future-proof facility that will give patients a better healing journey. It has five theaters with two ophthalmology rooms, one ENT-ORL theater, and two minor rooms. With a total floor area of 870sqm for Phase 1, the construction and expansion of this facility pave the way for a more modern and equipped ORC structure, ready to accommodate the increasing demand for surgical procedures.

These enhanced facilities and expanded services are a testament of the 67-year-old hospital’s dedication in giving quality healthcare services for both local and international patients. As patients continue to entrust their lives to the medical experts of the hospital, MDH returns this trust with top-notch healing and services every step of the way.
