The United States supports Israeli efforts to end attacks on its northern border, the White House said Saturday, after a strike on an Arab town in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights raised fears of an all-out conflict with Hezbollah.
“Our support for Israel’s security is iron-clad and unwavering against all Iranian backed terrorist groups, including Lebanese Hezbollah,” a National Security Council spokesman said.
