LIST: Canceled flights from July 19 to 20 due to Microsoft outage

MANILA, Philippines — Several Cebu Pacific flights scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 19 to 20, were canceled due to technical issues related to the global outage of technology giant Microsoft.

In a Facebook post, local carrier Cebu Pacific said that the following flights will not push through as of 7 p.m. on July 19:

The following flights scheduled for July 20 were also canceled:

“This is a developing situation, and some flight changes may take place in the coming days. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status,” the post read.

Affected passengers were advised not to proceed to the airport at this time to avoid congestion.

Furthermore, Cebu Pacific said it is offering flexible options, including free rebooking and travel funds, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights scheduled up to July 21, 2024.

“Cebu Pacific will send notifications to affected passengers once the systems are working and will provide the options available. We are working closely with our teams to mitigate disruptions to our operations and will provide regular updates as the situation progresses,” it added.
