PH embassy, consulate in Australia condemn Aussie couple slay in Tagaytay
MANILA, Philippines — The Embassy of the Philippines in Canberra and the Philippine Consulate in Sydney on Saturday condemned the killing of an Australian couple in the Philippines.
David Fisk, 57, and Lucita Cortez, 55, were found dead on July 10 in a hotel in Tagaytay City, along with Mary Jane Cortez, Lucita’s thirty-year-old daughter-in-law.

“We wish to extend our deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathies to the family and loved ones of David and Lucita on their loss. We offer our thoughts and prayers for solace and comfort during this difficult time,” their statement said.
“The Philippine government condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly and senseless act that took the couple from their loved ones,” it added.

As of this writing, the suspect in the case has yet to be found, but police have identified a person in the hotel’s closed-circuit television footage who may be linked to the case.
