Zelensky says Russian strikes Monday killed 43 in Ukraine, raising toll

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Washington that 43 people were killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine Monday, raising the toll from 37 dead.

“Forty-three people were killed by this attack,” Zelensky said in a speech to a think tank.
