BI intercepts 2 foreigners who entered PH to work illegally
MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Friday that two foreign nationals were intercepted for entering the country to allegedly work illegally.
According to the BI, 20-year-old Ding Junda was arrested on June 23 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia).

Ding arrived from China and said that he was sponsored by a Chinese national outside the country.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trang, a 22-year-old Vietnamese national was apprehended on June 23 at Naia.
Article continues after this advertisementThe BI said that Nguyen, who arrived from Thailand, visited the Philippines in 2022, and worked as nail technician while having a tourist visa.

“They were denied entry after our officers determined that they were likely to become public charge, as stipulated by the provisions, resulting in their classification as excludable aliens under our immigration laws,” BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said.
The BI added that the two were blacklisted from entering the Philippines.
