DOT-NCR to offer accreditation services at GTBA’s Travel Sale Expo 2024

Travel agencies and all tourism related businesses can secure accreditation from the Department of Tourism at this year’s Travel Sale Expo happening on September 27-29 at SM Megamall, an event organized by the Global Tourism Business Association and One Klik Events.

GTBA President Michelle Taylan and DOT-NCR Officer Ivannovich Agote formalized the partnership for the upcoming travel expo last June 20, 2024.“Being accredited with the Department of Tourism is  essential for the tourism industry, as it enhances quality, builds trust, boosts competitiveness, supports sustainable practices, and ensures legal compliance,” Agote said. “It benefits both tourists and businesses by fostering a positive and reliable tourism experience.”

GTBA also welcomed the department’s continuous support for its activities and projects that are centered on further professionalizing and developing the tourism and travel industries.
