In a text message to INQUIRER.net, BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that Aphrodite arrived in the Philippines in November 2022.

The BI said that a Texas court issued an arrest warrant against Aphrodite in December 2023 for allegedly having a criminal instrument or a mechanical security device with the intent to commit a crime.

A criminal instrument is a device that is specifically made to commit a crime, such as lockpicks.
